Aksaray University Faculty of Dentistry was established with the publication in the Official Gazette dated February 6, 2021 and numbered 31387.

The Faculty of Dentistry is divided into 8 main branches: Oral, Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology; Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery; Pedodontics; Endodontics; Orthodontics; Periodontics; Prosthetic Dentistry and Restorative Dentistry. These main branches of science are referred to as clinical sciences. It is provided by a strong academic staff who are competent, knowledgeable and skilled in the field of theoretical and practical applications of clinical sciences, follow national and international developments and changes, have a vision.

Our faculty started its education life in the Aksaray University Central Classroom Building. In the current building, central classrooms, Aksaray University Faculty of Medicine and Aksaray University Faculty of Dentistry provide education and training. In addition, patient services are provided as the Aksaray University Faculty of Dentistry Oral and Dental Health Application and Research Center, which belongs to our Faculty, on the ground floor of the building. Our center actively includes 8 dental units, imaging center, central sterilization unit, emergency intervention clinic and barrier-free clinic for our disabled patients to receive comfortable treatment service. It is planned to install a total of 50 dental units in the building in 2026, taking the number of our first students as a reference.

Our faculty started its education-training life for the first time with 22 students in the 2024-2025 Academic Year. We have 1 preclinical and 1 simulation laboratory that our faculty students will use in the first three years of their education-training process. The latest technological developments were taken into account when designing the laboratories so that our students can reach sufficient pre-clinical knowledge and skills. Before starting their clinical life, our students receive practical training in our simulation laboratory with competent and experienced faculty members in different departments in personalized phantom dental units and are prepared to treat patients.
