Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is the branch of science that treats the pathologies of soft and hard tissues in the mouth. Diagnosis and surgical treatment of all soft tissues in the mouth (tongue, cheek, lip, salivary glands, etc.), teeth, jaws and jaw joint disorders and diseases are performed. Depending on the procedure to be performed and the systemic condition of the patient, surgical procedures are performed under local anesthesia, conscious sedation or general anesthesia.

- Surgery of hard and soft tissue cysts or tumors concerning the oral-maxillofacial region

- Biopsy

- Preprosthetic surgery (such as vestibuloplasty, sinus lift, alveolar correction, epulis removal, nerve repositioning)

- Pain in the maxillofacial region

- Conservative and surgical treatments of temporomandibular joint disorders

- Treatment of odontogenic infections

- Treatment of salivary gland diseases

- Diagnosis and treatment of oral diseases

- Oral, maxillofacial and dental implant applications

- Hard and soft tissue grafting and reconstruction procedures

- Botox applications
