Endodontics

The Department of Endodontics is a branch of dentistry that deals with diseases of the dental pulp (vascular nerve bundle) and periapical tissues (around the root tip) and the causes, prevention, diagnosis and treatment of these diseases. Deeply advanced large caries or teeth that have lost their vitality due to mechanical or thermal traumas independent of the caries may require root canal treatment. Most of the time, endodontic treatment may be the last chance to keep such teeth in the mouth. For this reason, the importance of our department has increased as patients increasingly care about their oral health.
